Individual, Russian, Cluster??

Hi everyone,
I thought it would be a good idea to share with everyone the different types of lash choices that are available now but not only that key points as to what is the difference!! What with cluster, 2D, 3D, Individual – there are so many choices and is deciding what is right for you!

*Just a quick disclaimer that the pictures that you see are not my own or my own work except where stated*

Cluster Lashes

These are a few lashes already applied on a base and they are then glued on to various of your own natural lashes at one time as appose to each individual lash, cluster lashes should be removed within 2 weeks off application as they can damage your own natural lashes if left. These are a good temporary choice as apples to individuals which are more long term and natural.
Be careful of brands offering ‘individual lashes’ at a lower price it may in fact be cluster lashes.
Cluster lashes take around 30 minutes to apply.

Russian Lashes
Russian lashes come in various degrees of volume from 2D up to 6D, they are again multiple lashes however they are glued onto one individual lash and are generally finer lashes to make it lighter weight on the lash, however once a few are together (such as image of a 3D lash below) on 1 lash they generally give a much more dramatic, false lash appearance.
Russian lashes take around 1.5 hours to 2 hours to apply.
Individual Lashes
Individual lashes are one lash on one lash, they are generally made from silk giving the appearance of mascara being worn. They come in various lengths and curl to suit and quite often when applied correctly give the most natural look whilst creating length. They are applied on every single individual eyelash.
Individual lashes take around 1.5  to 2 hours to apply.

The lashes I apply are individual lashes. The below picture is an application of these by myself.

All in all, I would ask lots of questions to your lash technician, if they are fully confident they should be able to answer them for you. Ensure that your lash technician also offers aftercare advice.

Miss England Finals…

Hi everyone,

As you have probably already saw from my Facebook page I was a little inactive over the last couple of weeks due to being out of the country in Singapore and Thailand, if you do ever have chance to go, go!! If you have already been I am sure you would echo this… if you haven’t already saw my snapshots of what I got up to here they are….

Back to business, I was lucky enough to be asked to go along and support the Angel Eyes owner, Marie Di-Rito. Angel Eyes is the brand of lashes that I use on all my clients and it’s great to know and be able to say the glue is made in the UK and therefore tested to all EU standards. The lashes that I use are also silk, making them feel like you are not wearing anything!
Here are some of the pictures from the pop up salon we created at the event yesterday…

Tonight we will be attending the finals so I am sure I will be able to share with you some more pictures from the event!
